Roselle, New Jersey

Roselle, New Jersey, a borough bordered by Roselle Park, Elizabeth, Linden and Cranford has more history than most people would know. Roselle’s very own first Presbyterian Church located on West 5th Ave and Chestnut Street was the first church to ever have electricity in it. Not the first church in the country but in the world thanks to Thomas Edison. Also, Thomas Edison wanted to demonstratethat an electrical lighting system can light up an entire town. The town he demonstrated that was yours truly, Roselle, New Jersey.

Roselle, NJ homes are lined with many trees on wide streets. There are many historical, very large antique looking homes. Roselle has many diffrent types of homes.  A gorgeous area in Roselle, NJ is the area bordering Warinanco Park which is a recreational park with an ice skating rink.  710 Galvin Ave. is across from this beautiful park, complete with 3 bedrooms and 2.1 baths. Roselle, NJ has three Elementary schools from Pre-K to 3rd grade.  They have one school specifically for 4th and 5th graders and a school specifically for 6th and 7th graders.  The high school is for grades 8 – 12. Roselle, NJ also is the home of Roselle Catholic High school.

There are many different sources of transportation in Roselle, New Jersey. There are many bus stations, train stations in bordering towns, and access to rout 22 and parkway.
