Springfield
Springfield Township, New Jersey is a town with a population of 14,429. It is surrounded by the towns of Milburn, Union, Kenilworth, Westfield, Cranford, Mountainside and Summit. Springfield has many ways of transportation. Interstate 78, Route 124, 22, and 24, CR 577 and CR 509 passes through Springfield. Bus services are available to NYC and Newark Penn station. The closes train stations are in Millburn and Short Hills.
Springfield has a rich history that many people do not know much about. The Battle of Springfield was one of the last battles of the Revolutionary War against the British in 1780. Springfield has a few historic landmarks that survived the battle.
Springfield has a total of five public schools and one Catholic school. Springfield has one high school, three elementary schools, one middle school and one Catholic school from grades Pre K -8. There are currently 51 single family homes available in Springfield Township.
